Development:
What you do in development is that you plan your film. E.g. Planning the script, planning the location, planning the camera angles and also auditioning actors for the short film clip. There are many types of jobs in development production. The types of jobs you can do are:
- Script writer-Creating and planning the story and what the actors are going to say in the script.
- Director-Planning the camera angles, Type of actors needed and equipment needed.
- Camera man- What type of camera's needed and type of lenses needed.
- producer-Creating posters, sharing on facebook etc.
- Art director-Setting up the background or the stage design.
- Script editor- Changing the script by adding or removing stuff from the script.
- Lighting designer-Making the lights darker or brighter and types of lights.
- Story board creator-Setting up the story on how the story is going to be set out.
- Line producer-Sorting out human resources and handling problems during production.
- Casting director-Auditioning actors for the film.
Pre-production:
What you do in pre-production is that you get the work done, especially a film or a broadcast programme,before a full scale production begins. There are many types of jobs in pre-production. The types of jobs that are in pre-production are:
- Director-Planning the location and sorting the equipment out for the actors to use.
- Cameraman-Testing the cameras out to make sure the cameras are working.
- Script editor/writer-Change the script around, to make it the script better and for the actors to learn.
- Producer-Making sure all the posters and leaflets have been given out or posted on walls for people to see our latest film.
- Actors learning their lines for the film.
Production:
Production is where you start shooting on that day, where the actors are ready to do there acting skills, Cameramen are ready to shoot the film and the director is ready to direct the cast on how the film its meant to be. The types of jobs that are involved with production are:
- Director-directing the people on what to do in the film production.
- Actors-Actin gin the film.
- Cameraman-Filming the actors, while they are acting
- Audio man-Capturing the audio, while the actors are saying their lines.
- Lighting-Doing the lights when the actors walk off the stage or walk on the stage.
Post production:
Post production is where you have finished the filming and the film is being edited into a film.The types of jobs that are involved with this production are:
- Video editor-Editing the video by removing or adding clips to the film.
- Director-Telling the editor how the film needs to be and what needs to be included.
- Audio man-Adding different sound effects into the film to make the film more challenging and interesting.
What is prelude?
